Tears of the Kingdom – Every Mount & Where to Find Them

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers players an enormous open-world map to explore, and they can tame and ride mounts to help with that exploration. Instead of relying on Link’s stamina bar and running, mounts make pelting across the open fields of Hyrule a thrilling experience, providing a way to dodge combat and reach a desired location much faster.

Tears of the Kingdom’s mounts are similar to those players found in Breath of the Wild. They need to first be soothed. Then Link can ride them and call on them later after completing a Shrine or two. This guide explains what all the mounts in Tears of the Kingdom are and where to find them around Hyrule’s sprawling map.

At the time of writing, the specifics of registering a mount with a stable are unknown. However, if this mechanic is similar to how it worked in the last game, Link should be able to register a Mount simply by riding to a stable and speaking to the Stable Master there. This will allow players to register any mount they’re riding and keep them even if they decide to sleep the night away at the stable.

And that’s it! Check out our other The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom guides below to help with crafting, exploring, and tackling challenges across Hyrule.
